Alpine Dance Academy offers Summit County quality dance education in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Pointe, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, Voice and Acro (acrobatics).

 

Classes are available for students of all ages and levels. Enjoy seven levels of technique, Classes offered for students ages 3 through High School, and Keep fit with Adult Recreational Dance

Location

Alpine Dance Academy is located at 409 Main Street, in Frisco CO. In B-9, Suite B-11, B -12, in the basement of the Firsco Center

Class Guidelines

All class guidelines listed below are age group guidelines only. All students are placed in a level by an ADA instructor. Level placement is based on age, maturity, experience, level of technique, and may not reflect age group listed below.

  • Baby Boogie - Parent and child, infants through age 2
  • Pre K – Dancers age 3 and up (potty trained) but not yet in K
  • K – Kindergarten
  • Level 1 - 4 – Elementary School, placed by an instructor
  • Level 5, 6A, 6B – Middle Scchool & High School, placed by an instructor
  • Level 7 and 8 – By invitation only - Dancers who have completed ADA training last year, and have committed to the Alpine Vibes for the 2017-2018 dance season
  • Junior Vibes - By invitation only - dancers 4th through 7th Grade who have completed ADA Vibes requirements for a full year.
  • Alpine Vibes - By invitation only - dancers 8th through 12th Grade who have completed ADA Vibes requirements for a full year.

Tuition Policies

  • Absolutely no refunds will be given for tuition or fees.
  • Alpine Dance Academy reserves the right to cancel any class with less than 5 students enrolled.
  • Family tuition is calculated individually by dancer, and the total is then discounted 10%.
  • Tuition is to be paid by monthly check, cash or automatic credit card payment.
  • Tuition is calculated based on an entire season of dance. Tuition payments are divided into 9 equal parts and dispersed over 9 month. Tuition is not prorated for shorter dance months. Tuition is not prorated for dancers who withdraw or join the program in the middle of a month.
  • No refunds will be given for missed or cancelled classes.
  • Students with unpaid monthly tuition will not be permitted to participate in class.

General Rules and Policies

  • All students must register for class and have a signed registration form on file. No student will be permitted to dance without a signed registration form.
  • All students must have a signed injury waiver on file. No student will be permitted to dance without a signed injury waiver.
  • All students must be dressed appropriately for class: Ballet: Pink Ballet Slippers, leotard, tights, bun. Skirt and legwarmers allowed, but not required. Jazz: Black Jazz shoes, leotard, tights. Tap: Black Tap Shoes, comfortable attire. Modern: Bare feet or Foot Undeez, leotard, tights. Theatre: Character shoes, leotard, tights. Acro & Polynesian: Bare feet, leotard, tights. Hip Hop: Hip Hop Shoes or clean sneakers. Comfortable attire, no jeans, full length pants are required (no shorts). Alpine Vibes: Black dancewear, leotard, tights. ALL shoes are required for Vibes classes and rehearsals.
  • No student will be permitted to dance if they are not properly dressed for class. No student will be permitted to dance with bare legs or midriffs.
  • No Gum.
  • No Jewelry.
  • Long hair must be pulled back at all times.
  • No food is permitted on studio floor - water only.
  • Classroom discipline is to be observed at all times.
  • Disruptive or disrespectful students will be expelled from Alpine Dance Academy. No refunds will be given for disruptive students who are asked to sit or leave class.
  • Students are not allowed to leave the studio area unattended. Alpine Dance Academy is not responsible for students who leave the studio area or students in Frisco Center common areas.
